Empower Her Program
A Loyola Marymount University Empower HER increase the number of attendance of school girls in impoverished communities by providing proper menstruation care resources. By increasing school attendance, the quality of education and opportunity to pursue professional goals for these girls increases. One of the main threats to quality education for young women is the lack of resources and knowledge of proper care during menstruation. This project recognizes that lacking basic care threatens the quality of education, which deprives young women of opportunities to better their quality of life.
Empower HER actively works with 25 young girls from Los Cuadros, Purral de Guadalupe in Costa Rica on 2022.
Thank you Empower Her!
