CAPSTONE PROJECT 2025 University of Toronto

Thanks to University of Toronto Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering  and Winds Of Change 

Students from University of Toronto, Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering  in collaboration with Winds Of Change are working together to desing and set up 3 Photovoltaic Projects. 

"Three teams will be working on energy requirements and alternative design solutions to implement the best options for supporting three civil organizations with solar power."

Centre for Global Engineering (CGEN).

Title: Improving care for children with cancer

Goal: Design a Solar Water Heating System to reduce electricity expenses

Country: GUATEMALA

Centre for Global Engineering (CGEN).

Title: Improving care for children and parents with HIV

Goal: Design solar-powered air conditioning and mosquito repellent

Country: PANAMA

Title: A Helping Hand for kids at Social Risk

Goals:

Design and implement a solar-powered system for the study room -       

Reconfigure or optimize existing residential solar systems
