El comedor benefits directly 220 primary school students from 5 to 13 years old and supports around 200 families. This wonderful program serve a daily plate of food for the kids ( rice and beans mainly) provided thanks to casual donors.

Mothers help to cook every day for a plate of food too but we spend a lot of money paying electricity bills, gas or buying wood to cook the food.

El comedor:

  • Provides a safety net from hunger children
  • Provides “Our children’s ability to grow, learn, and meet their full potential . . . because depends on regular access to healthy meals.
  • Provides Training and Workshops to encourage children and families to grow and improve their quality of live.

Today thanks to Winds Of Change, Canada, we set a solar-powered electric stove that is helping the dining program to feed more kids instead pay the for Electricity bills to cook,  and winds of change also donated the amount necessary for the urgent infrastructure improvements transforming El Comedor in a better and safe place for the Kids to eat and share.

Thank you very Much
